It was a trip I'll never forget / Melanie

One year ago I was with my friends in a cottage in the alps. The cottage belongs to my father and his siblings. We were there for the weekend to celebrate my twentieth birthday. I arrived earlier with my boyfriend to prepare the food. When my friends arrived we made a barbecue, drank beer and wine and had a lot of fun during the whole evening. Most of my friends slept in the cottage. The day after we had a second barbecue, but it wasn't as big as the first one. While we were eating, we decided to go to the toboggan run. Though the weather looked so bad, we decided to sled. While we were on the lift, it began to rain. The lift stopped immediately and we had to walk back. You should know, that when it is raining or even when the trail is wet, they stop it. The brakes don't work when the trail is wet, so sledding is very dangerous.

We all got a coupon to come back another time, so we all look forward to our next trip.
